- Hosting & E-mail Management
If you have a simple low maintenance 'shop window' site or maybe you know the basics of Joomla already, then the competitively priced Bronze package should be enough for you. It includes your hosting package (unlimited disk space, and 20GB bandwidth per month) and access to control panel where you can set up and manage an unlimited number of e-mails. - Video Tutorials
For just a few extra pounds a month, you can access a growing number of hand picked tutorials from Joomla users across the globe which will save you hours and hours of searching for the right help. The videos are great for troubleshooting and developing your learning. All major areas of Joomla are covered. - Support Forum
If you run into a more specific problem and want a quick, direct answer, then you might want to consider the Gold Package which includes the benefit of accessing my support forum. There, you will not only be able to find some immediate solutions that other people have posted, but you can post questions yourself. My current aim is a response within one working day. - Update Pre-Installed Extensions
All extensions that are installed with your original site, along with Joomla itself, will be kept up to date on a quarterly basis. This means not only will your site perform better, but more importantly, it will be more secure and far less liekly to be hacked. - Site Back-up & Emergency Restore For total peace of mind, your site will receive a full back-up every two weeks. And in the unlikely event that your site does get hacked or doesn't function properly for whatever reason, I will get you back up and running with a full restoration from the last point of back-up.
Domains
If you want me to purchase a domain on your behalf so that it is all together in the same place as your hosting I can do this for you. Prices are as follows:
- .co.uk or .org.uk domain name £8.00 every two years
- .com or .org domain names: £12.00 per year
You can use an existing domain that you own (we just link it to the hosting that I set up for you) or I can also transfer any existing domains for free so they are in the same place as your hosting.
Using your own host
I'm happy to set up your website on an existing hosting package you own, but I only provide support packages that I place on my regular servers - mainly due to problems I have previously had with other poor hosting companies client shave used.
